3M’s Aura 9300+ Series self-filtering masks provide effective respiratory protection for use in industries where workers are exposed to dust particles and/or non-volatile liquid particles.
They are foldable, easy to store and their patented 3-panel design facilitates facial movements for the user’s comfort. The top panel adapts to the contours of the nose and face for an effective seal.

The chin tab is designed to make it easier to put on the mask and adjust it.
The 3M Cool Flow exhalation valve offers greater comfort in hot and humid environments and/or where the work task is more strenuous and physical.
Low Breathing Resistance Technology offers effective filtration with low breathing resistance for constant high-quality performance.

Recycled VS Recyclable
Recycling is the process of converting waste into material that can be reused for the same or an alternative purpose. This process results in recycled materials.
Not everything that is recycled is recyclable and vice versa.
3M Aura 9312+, 9322+ and 9332+ particulate respirators manufactured after April 1, 2024 contain recycled material, but are not recyclable.
Why isn't the Aura 9300+ recyclable?
Recycling PPE is a very complex issue, as you have to take into account not only the material the product is made of, but also what it has been contaminated with during its lifetime.
There is still no reliable method for decontaminating used respirators so that they can be recycled safely.

Standards

Before adjusting the equipment, make sure your hands are clean.
1. With the back side up and the flap used, separate the top and bottom panels so that the product is shell-shaped. Bend the nose clip slightly in the middle.
2. Make sure both panels are fully unfolded.
3. Hold the mask in a cupped position with one hand, placing the open side on your face. With the other hand, hold both adjusting straps. Hold the mask under your chin, with the nose pad up, and pull the adjustment straps over your head.
4. Place the upper adjusting strap around your head and the lower adjusting strap under your ears. The straps should not cross each other. Adjust the upper and lower panels for greater comfort, making sure that the panels and chin strap are not folded inwards.
5. Using both hands, mold the nose clip, adjusting it to the bottom of the nose to ensure a good seal.
6. Check that the mask is properly sealed.
1. completely cover the front of the self-filtering mask with both hands, taking care not to alter the mask’s fit.
2. Self-filtering mask WITHOUT valve – Exhale forcefully.
Self-filtering mask WITH valve – Inhale forcefully.
3. If you notice an air leak around the nose, readjust the nose clip to eliminate the leak. Repeat the procedure described above.
4. If you notice an air leak at the edge of the self-filtering mask, readjust the adjustment straps on both sides of the head to eliminate the leak. Repeat the process described above.
