Sustainability
Dunlop has made a commitment to reduce its environmental footprint by 50%, based on six strategic initiatives.
Production is now carried out close to the main user markets and renewable energies are used to achieve carbon neutrality. The zero-waste approach was extended to the entire operation, from manufacturing to the construction site.
The circularity of the supply chain has been strengthened, guaranteeing sustainable materials obtained responsibly, with respect for human rights and safety at work. The concept of “the boot as a service” was adopted to optimize protection programs, adding value to sustainability strategies.
Investment continued to be made in the innovation of PVC and Purofort materials, and production was adjusted to extend the useful life of the boots, contributing to the health and safety of those who use them.
In this way, a sustainable and future-oriented approach is being consolidated.
