Tyvek® with antistatic treatment offers high levels of protection against a wide range of hazards, including liquid and solid chemicals, fine dust, and fibers. Its smooth surface repels liquids and particles, providing the most effective chemical barrier in its category.

Thanks to its unique structure composed of continuous high-density polyethylene fibers, Tyvek® does not release particles or contain additives or fillers. Additionally, it helps minimize human contamination of products and processes in controlled environments, such as in the pharmaceutical and food industries.

Developed and manufactured exclusively by DuPont, Tyvek® is a strong and versatile material with high wear resistance. Even after surface abrasion, it maintains the integrity of the barrier, as it extends throughout the material’s thickness.

Despite its robustness, Tyvek® is soft to the touch, extremely lightweight, and flexible, as well as being permeable to air and water vapor. The combination of these characteristics explains the comfort it offers when used.

Few additives:
Tyvek® is manufactured without plasticizers or restricted substances listed in European directives, such as RoHS (Directive 2015/863/EU) or the Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) of the REACH regulation.

Lightweight:
The excellent strength-to-weight ratio of Tyvek® can contribute to reducing energy consumption in transportation compared to heavier competing products.

Less waste:
The low weight of the material, combined with its high durability and stable functional performance, results in lower energy and resource consumption, as well as a reduction in waste generated at the end of the product’s life cycle.

Recyclability:
Tyvek® is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and is recyclable.*
